Castello di Frascarolo is situated in Induno Olona, near Varese. The castle has massive walls and a grand tower which dates back to the 15th Century. The Bugnate portal, and the balconied courtyard was added in the 16th Century when it became a stately residence. The castle stands prominently on the slopes of Campo dei Fiori, between two valleys (Ganna and Ceresio) and is also know as the Medici, after the eminent family who are still the present day owners.
