The Villa Pallavicino delle Peschiere can be found in the Castelletto area of the city close to Via Assarotti. It is a beautiful 16th Century villa and is one of the best-kept secret works of the Perugian architect Galeazzo Alessi. Because it is privately owned the villa is only open to the public on special occasions. It is a compact squared galleried block, built in a panoramic location and surrounded by a terraced garden. L. Cambiaso and G.B. Castello worked together on the frescoed interior.
