Designed and built by G. Coppede in 1924, the Villa Canali Gaslini sits on a hill giving it a dominating aspect over the promenade which links the Fiera del Mare to the Boccadasse. It is similar to a medieval Florentine castle, with distinct lines, and a high tower that rises from the main building. There is very pretty and well maintained park surrounding the villa which is an important link between the Corso Italia and the villa itself, which is now home to the Gaslini foundation.
