The Torrigiani Garden extends from the Viale Petrarca, with the old Arnolfi walls running on each side of the garden as far as the Piazza Torquato Tasso. Luigi Cambrai-Digny designed the gardens around the 19th Century, but they were completed by Baccani who also responsible for the neo-Gothic style tower. It was Pio Fedi who implemented the group of neo-classical sculptures for Pietro Torrigiani. The gardens are now in private hands but open periodically to the public.
