Saint Francis church in Gubbio was designed by Fra’Bevignate. This church is the only one in the city that has one central nave and two lateral ones, constructed in the second half of 13th Century. The interior of the church contains frescoes in the left chapel, of particular interest are: the ‘History of the Virgin’ by Ottaviano Nelli, circa 1400, and Madonna with Child, S. Cristoforo, S. Antonio Abbate and other paintings of 15th Century.
