The convent of Sant’Agostino was erected in the latter half of the 13th Century just outside of the city walls. It has a single nave and the roof is supported by cross-sectional arches. During the 18th Century the building’s façade was remodelled. On the inside there are some lovely Nelli frescoes, including the ‘History of S. Agostino’ and the ‘Universale Judgment’ both expertly painted by the craftsman. There are also works here dating from the 14th Century.
