Santa Maria Infraportas is Foligno’s oldest church, built in the 11th or 12th Century. It has a façade of pink and white stone strips and an impressive Romanesque bell tower. There is a portico with 3 arches on columns and inside there are 3 naves. The altar has a Crucifixion by Antonio Mezzastris and the arcade contains a St Catherine of Alexandria, by an unknown 16th Century artist, and St Jerome with Two Angels by Mezzastris.
