The Cathedral of San Benedetto dates from the 13th Century and was carefully restored after the earthquake of 1751. The façade does date from the 13th Century and the cathedral has three doors that open on three aisles and a magnificent rose window. The interior was completely renovated during the 19th Century and has some beautiful 20th Century frescoes. Outside to the left stands a lovely Renaissance fountain. Even though it has been renovated over several centuries this still remains a beautiful building and is a favourite with tourists.
