S. Nicoḷ Church was designed by architect Paolo Soratini from Lonate and built in 1740. Erected over an existing building dating back to 1391, the present church contains two fine paintings by Zenon Veronese (1448-1553) as well as work by Palma il Giovane (1570-1596) and Andrea Celesti (1637-1712). There are frescoes by Francesco Monti (1683-1768) and 14 paintings of the Stations of the Cross by Augusto Lozzia. The apse faces Lake Garda and has an unusual balcony which has a view of the lake from San Vigilio Point to Peschiera, Sirmione, La Rocca di Manerba and the Island of Garda.
