S. Francesco Church and Cloister was built in 1289 and can be located at the entrance to Gargnano town. The façade has a votive statue of 1301 which depicts San Antonio from Padova. The cloister has a 14th Century inner courtyard with porticos on columns and bas-relief capitals decorated with fish, birds, leaves, lemons and limes – which were cultivated by the Grey Friars. There are two Roman stone tablets – a 3rd Century gravestone dedicated to Nettuno and a 1st Century altar dedicated to the local divinity Revino.
