The Ranghiasci Brancaleoni Park was laid out in the 1814. It extends to the south, along the slopes of Monte Ingino as far as the Palazzo Ducal. The entrance to the park can be found inside the Porta Metauro. The garden was designed in an English style by Francesco Ranghiasci who perhaps was influenced by the English woman he married. It has recently been purchased and restored and offers visitors a contrast to the grey stone buildings of the city. It has a pretty covered bridge, a neo-classical temple, shady trees, and a café.
