The Palazzo Trinci is a lavish structure once owned by the Trinci family who ruled the city of Foligno. After earthquake damage in 1832, the façade was remodelled in a neo-classical style between 1841 and 1847. There is an elevated passageway that leads from the palace to the Duomo and the inner courtyard has brick Gothic style facades as well as loggias. The three-mullioned windows are very like the ones in Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia, and a grand flight of steps leads up to the first floor.
