Palazzo del Podestà, erected around the 13th Century, was badly damaged during the earthquake of 1751 and partly rebuilt in the 18th Century. There is an international ceramics exhibition and competition held annually in the palace that attracts dozens of artists and workers back to Gualdo Tadino, which has become the centre for the manufacture of Lusterware. This is a must-visit place for all collectors, connoisseurs, and amateur collectors who wishe to extend their knowledge and appreciation of this exotic ceramic ware.
