The 18th Century Palazzo Bettoni was commissioned by Giandomenico Bettoni from a design by architect Adriano Cristofori. It is considered to be one of the finest palaces on Lake Garda with its raised balustrade adorned with stone statues of mythological figures created by Giovanni Battista Locatelli. There are some precious works of art here including paintings by Palma il Vecchio, Canaletto, Paolo Veronese, Andrea Celesti and Pitocchetto, as well as antique furniture, rare books, fine stuccowork and frescoes by Beniamino and Fabrizio Galliari. The magnificent Italian-style garden was designed by Amerigo Pierallini.
