The Church was built in the middle of the 13th Century and largely rebuilt during the Baroque period. When entering behind the third altar you will see the fresco by Sandro Botticelli of ‘St. Audustine in study’ circa 1480. The second chapel belongs to the Vespucci family depicting frescos by Ghirlandaio including images of members of the family, probably Amergo Vespucci. From the cloister next to the church it is possible to enter the Refectory where there is the exemplary fresco by Dominico Ghirlandaio of ‘The Last Supper’.
