The Museo di Storia Naturale provides visitors with many examples of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, invertebrates and insects covering branches of the natural sciences such as zoology and entomology. The museum is a fascinating place to visit with a vast collection of fossils, minerals and rocks, divided into sections dedicated to the Earth sciences, palaeontology, geology and mineralogy. The ‘Earth’s Environment’ is a section that deals with our understanding of the environment and its development and organised using innovative museum techniques.
