Via Lomellini forms part of the Istituto Mazzianico complex and the Museo del Risorgimento e Istituto Mazziniano can be located here in the house where Giuseppe Mazzini was born. Set up in 1915, the museum is spread out over three floors. It contains thousands of documents and Renaissance artefacts displayed in chronological order. Among the documents and relics are signatures and manifestoes, prints, paintings, uniforms, flags, and weapons once owned by famous people. There is a specialised library with works from the second half of the 18th Century right up to the present day.
