The Jewish Museum holds an exhibition of traditional and ceremonial objects that illustrate various aspects of the life of every Jew. Of great beauty is the 18th Century furniture from the synagogue at Cento that now no longer exists. An example is the 18th Century Elijah chair lacquered in green which came from Lugo. It is believed that this chair was used for performing circumcisions. There are display cases in one of the rooms dedicated to many metal objects mainly in silver and the majority of them serve as decorations for the Torah Scrolls.
