Giardino Alpino can be found close to Gignese along the road to Alpino and onto Mottarone. If you love alpine plants this place is a must visit with thousands of species of plants on display. The founder of the gardens, Ambrosini, wrote a small book in which he dedicated a poem. The gardens are a contrast to the gardens of Isola Bella, being much simpler. One of the other great attractions of these gardens is the view out over the three islands and the lake itself, which is truly breathtaking.
