The Genoa Typography Museum is a very unusual museum and one of just a few of its kind in the whole of Italy. It opened in 2003 in a building provided by the province of Genoa as an experimental workshop, showing all different types of typography from the natural kind to the technical. There are also old working presses telling the story of Gutenberg. Other items on show are hand and treadle machines and movable print types spanning different ages and styles.
