The Civic Museum of Art houses religious works from convents, chapels and items from noble mansions. One of the halls has sculptures by Galatina artist Gaetano Martinez on display. The Cavoti Fund or Fondo Cavoti which includes several works, studies and notes by the scholar take up two other halls. All along the corridors in the museum hang magnificent works of art by Galatina men. In the fourth hall on display are Lecce stone decorations from many churches and mansions and in the last are fragments of frescoes out of the Basilica of Santa Caterina.
