Although the Church of S.Maria delle Vigne was renovated in 1640, it still retains its wonderful bell tower, mullioned windows, octagonal spire and pinnacles. Built at the end of the 11th Century or the beginning of the 12th Century, the cloisters next to the church have been modernised and are now private houses. Inside the church lies the tomb of Incisa Vivaldi, and since 1304 it has been under an arch to the left of the church and a 2nd Century sarcophagus has embellished it. On the other side of the church there’s a magnificent Gothic gateway.
