The magnificent Church of Santa Maria del Tiglio dates to the early 12th Century. It was built in a Romanesque style in black and white marble with a bell tower in the façade. There are mullioned windows from the 18th Century with a cornice of small arches under the eaves. The other three sides have semi-circular apses decorated by small arches and friezes. The interior has a single aisle with small balconies and pointed arches. There is an enclosed Romanesque altar, some 5th Century mosaic floor, a baptismal font, a Romanesque wooden crucifix and frescoes from the 13th-16th centuries.
