Two paintings of consequence hang at the entrance to San Giovanni – the Madonna of the Holy Rosary (1625) by Marcantonio Grecchi, and the Baptism of Jesus by Tommaso Nasini. The façade has decorations of symbolic figures that were carved in the 13th Century. There are 3 naves, with a sarcophagus made by a local craftsman in the 6th Century, which may have been for the bishop of Forum Flaminii. The crypt contains materials from previous Roman and medieval buildings.
