The Church of S. Tommaso in Villa on Lake Garda, was built on a previous site of the 14th Century. There are still traces of fresco work including a depiction of St. Libera dated 1535. There are three altars inside dedicated to St. Thomas, St. Andrew the Apostle and St. Anne. A monastery built in 1906 is adjacent to the church – erected at the request of Monsignor Pietro Feltrinelli and this was home to Franciscan monks until quite recently. It now houses the Centre Européen de Rencontre et de Ressourcement.
