Chiesa di Santa Chiara was built in 1836 in a Neo-classical style. It was erected on the site of an earlier place of worship which dated back to the 17th Century. The church’s façade is decorated with pairs of Ionic pilasters on bases at the sides of the portal and has a central gable. Inside is housed the simulacra of the Mysteries which are used in a procession each Good Friday. The only parts of the 18th Century convent of the Poor Clares still visible are the belfry and part of the arcade.
