The Chiesa di S.Pancrazio is a lovely small church belonging to the Pallavicini family. Though the church already existed in the 11th Century, it was reconstructed in a late Baroque style by the architect A.M. Ricca after being damaged in a naval bombardment by Luigi XIV in 1684. Inside there are many valuable works of art, rare stuccoes, and frescoes in the apse created by J.A.Boni. There is also a fabulous marble altarpiece created by G.A. Ponsonelli with a statue by F. Parodi of St. Pancreas. The Order of Knights of Malta took possession in 1976.
