The 13th Century Chiesa di San Lussorio stands in its own walled enclosure and is fairly easy to find. The crooked red trachyte front looks quite rough and plain, but take a closer look to see the eroded relief around the base of the doorway. More reliefs can be found on one of the columns around the apse, where there are also excavations of an earlier Paleo-Christian necropolis still underway. This surprising little church is worth a visit, just to observe the excavations and the finds.
