The museum in Conversano holds archaeological finds which range from prehistory to the Roman era. Amongst these finds are Palaeolithic flints, lithic tools from the Conversano and Monopoli caves, and Neolithic and Bronze Age flints. Part of the museum complex houses an important artistic section which can be located at the Town Hall. The most noteworthy works to be found here are large paintings which are dedicated to Jerusalem by the Neapolitan painter, Paolo Finoglio.
