The Soffitta dei Libri (Book Attic) is situated at Villa Scandellara. This is a wonderful library for children aged from two to ten years as well as for their parents. On Sundays here you can attend performances of magical tales acted out by narrators and actors. It also offers workshops where the children become writers and are invited to invent their own stories. One of the initiatives arranged by the Soffitta dei Libri is for children recovering in hospital to be entertained by the travelling library.
