You will find the Roman amphitheatre in the town quarter of Porta Perlici. Here there is a 12th Century town gate with a double inner arch and door posts in Umbrian and Roman blocks. Visitors can see the remains of the amphitheatre which was built in the 1st Century AD. Although a garden now occupies the place where the arena was, there is still the remains of a travertine arch and the area is still clearly definable by the elliptical form and lay out of the medieval houses.
