The Museo dei Pupi dell’Opra, or Puppet Museum, can be found along the Via Nazionale to Catania. The Turi Grasso Puppet Theatre has an interesting collection of traditional puppets on display, some of which date back to the 19th Century. These puppets are exquisitely and skilfully made and have beautiful costumes. As well as the exhibition there is also a small working theatre which is housed inside the museum and details of performances are available at the museum.
