Peasant Civilization Museum

Map

The Masseria Lupoli Peasant Civilization Museum was created thanks to Edmondo Perrone. In August 1965, he started collecting objects, tools and cultivation machinery from Masseria Luppoli. Housed in a medieval tower and other rooms, this museum has nine halls where there are several rural tools and items. Visitors here can also appreciate the reconstruction of a peasant kitchen and a manor bedroom. The Municipality of Cristiano set up an exhibition under the title of ‘One Hundred farms in Crispiano’ to enhance the heritage of the territory.
