The Talon Park in Casaleccio is probably the biggest in Bologna. It is a beautiful place with benches, tables and barbecue areas. Also here are bicycle routes which go up into the hills and have stunning views over the city. The River Reno flows through the park and boat trips and canoeing in the river are available. It is possible to walk deep into the forest using the well-marked Brigoli footpaths which are suitable for family hikes. The park is huge but it is said you can’t get lost as all roads lead to Bologna.
