The Parco Cavaioni is one of the largest parks to be found in the hills above Bologna. Features include wooded areas, extensive meadows and cultivated fields, as well as a lake with a huge variety of fauna. The park also boasts stables where it is possible to go for a ride on horseback. The park is popular with youngsters, who gather on summer evenings, but there’s plenty of space in these broad meadows for those who want simply to enjoy a peaceful evening as the sun goes down.
