The Oratorio dei Pellegrini was built in 1432 by the brotherhood of San Giacomo e Sant’Antonio. On the façade is a 15th Century fresco by Matteo da Gualdo depicting Christ Resurrected, St James, and Brother Anthony. Inside, the walls are almost entirely covered by fresco paintings. There is more work by Matteo da Gualdo on the altar wall, and episodes of St James and St Anthony by Pier Antonio Mezzastris from 1471. Fresco work on the interior wall of the facade is attributed to Andrea d‘Assisi, (known as l‘Ingegno), whom Vasari considered the best pupil of Perugino.
