Catania’s Museum of the Military Landing in Sicily - 1943 has many interesting finds. This interactive museum commemorates the events, during the Second World War, which started up Sicily and the rest of Italy towards the liberation from German occupation. It shows the various battles which took place in western Sicily such as Gela, Augusta, Agira, Floridia, Troina, Ponte di Primosole, Catania, Messina. There is also a library here which was set up in 2005.
