The museum is also worthy of a visit and has plenty of interesting exhibits. These include things from the Roman era and before along with the beautiful Ciccoli Altarpiece by Dono Doni which dates from between 1565 and 1570. Visitors can see busts, coins and architectural fragments which were found in Bevagna and a collection of manuscripts from the medieval period. There is also a very good collection devoted entirely to local artists who worked in the area during the 16th and 17th centuries.
