Masseria Torcito o Cerceto is situated just a few kilometres from Otranto, in the territory of Cannole. This grand fortified rural dwelling was recently restored - the oldest part dating back to around the 12th Century. The building is found along a pathway of ancient dry walls and a cart road is marked by deep furrows and some tombs. Inside the building, on the first floor, is a narrow staircase which leads to the rooftop with glorious views.
