The beautiful area around Conservano is a mixture of woodlands, pastures, arable lands and olive groves. The Gravina Monsignore is a valley which stretches from the highest points of the south-eastern Murge down to the coast. Some of the lakes, such as Torre di Castiglione and Agnano, have important archaeological sites bordering them. This part of the Murge is a popular place with tourists, where ancient cisterns, massive trees and other wonders of nature, and the archaeological objects can be enjoyed.
