The Gabinetto delle Stampe collection in the city of Cagliari comprises many 19th Century photomechanical engravings and some 20th Century engravings by well known Sardinian artists. The Gabinetto delle Stampe, or Prints Gallery, is a fascinating collection which was opened in 1946 and dedicated to the artist Anna Marongiu Pernis, who died in 1941. The gallery holds many works of art by her and many other Sardinian artists such as Melis, Marini, Biasi and Delitalia.
