The Fountain of the Castle in the village of Aci Bonaccorsi is a very interesting monument. From an artistic point of view it is important as it was created in 1952 and placed in the area that is now the main square. It is fashioned in lava stone and depicts a variety of images of the small Castle of Aci and of the Scogli dei Ciclopi, or the Cliffs of Cyclopes, in high relief. The fountain is the work of the Sicilian sculptor S. Contarino.
