Dizzasco on Lake Como can be spotted from afar because of its Romanesque bell tower and the façade of the painted church. The chapel, dedicated to S. Sisinio, is one of the oldest of the area. Just after the Second World War, Dizzasco became one of the favoured resorts of Winston Churchill, who came here to paint. The Church of SS. Peter and Paul was built in the 17th Century on the ruins of a more ancient Romanesque building, and was again restored in 1959. There are altars in multi-coloured scagliola which are the work of P. Solari from Ramponio.
