The Collegio Capizzi is a religious building that houses a library. The building was erected towards the end of the 18th Century in a Baroque style and is one of Bronte’s most attractive monuments. The books held here are those that Jesuits left behind when they were driven from Sicily. There is also an art gallery housed inside. It is said to have been influential in the cultural education of people such as Luigi Capuana in the 19th Century.
