The Citron Park is situated on the border between Bologna and San Lazzaro and is also known as the Savena Park due to the stream that sets the limit of its total area on the southeastern side. In the park is an area covering 1500 square metres that is cared for by the World Wildlife Foundation. It is an oasis that has been left to evolve naturally with a great variety of deciduous tree and evergreens. In the park there is also an area that is dedicated to sport activities.
