The lovely Romanesque church of San Martino, dedicated to Arnad’s patron saint, can be found near the entrance to the town. It dates from the 12th to 13th Century and was built on the site of a former basilica. The Gothic portal, with sculpted tufa sections, is 16th Century, and inside are the remains of early 15th Century frescoes. The loft, with its interesting fresco cycle, is also Gothic and the church has a 12th Century bell tower.
