The little church dedicated to San Gervaso and San Protaso is from the 12th Century with a Romanesque façade and Romanesque campanile. However, the church itself was restored during the 17th and 18th centuries in a Baroque style. It is a beautiful little building that exudes peace and tranquillity and a feeling of great age. It is perhaps one of the most photographed churches on the whole of Lake Maggiore, with its setting in a square that’s shared with a small baptistery.
