The church of San Antonio (Saint Anthony) in Alberobello is quite unique. Like so many of the town’s buildings, it was built in the shape of a trulli (local structures made from roughly worked limestone boulders). It has a façade of three wings which are decorated with a rose window along with two other round windows. The roof is cone shaped and is almost 20 metres tall. This lovely whitewashed church has a bell tower with a small dome.
