Via Nosadella, 4 Bologna 40123 - Italy

Map

The church of della Madonna dei Poveri was first the place of worship for the ’Company of Santa Maria delle Laudi’ and later the ’Company of the Poor’ which rebuilt this ancient church sometime in the 17th Century. Its 19th Century entrance can be reached by going through the 16th Century portico. On entering the church you will be able to admire the painting of The Madonna dei Poveri, which is attributed to Tiburzio Passarotti. There are also some magnificent painted panels on the walls by Francesco Gessi, Lucio Massari and Lionello Spada.
