The industrial town of Cernobbio is one of the largest towns on the Lake Como after Como and Lecco. The town is well situated on the hillside among trees and has a good beach and a pretty little port. The old part of the town near the lakeside square, and a quaint collection of houses and narrow alleys, are grouped around an ancient church. Close by the town are two villas that have fine garden parks; one villa is now used for conferences and exhibitions, while the other has recently opened.
